Migos falls flat on ‘Culture II’ album

The self-importance that accompanies any rap album longer than an hour and a half is almost always a recipe for disaster, but Migos could have been forgiven for their lengthy runtime had the quality of “Culture 2” remained as consistent as its predecessor.

​Musical ‘The Greatest Showman’ prioritizes audience happiness

“The Greatest Showman” follows P.T. Barnum (played by Hugh Jackman) as he chases his ambition of creating the greatest show on Earth. Along the way, Barnum incorporates some of New York’s “human oddities” into his act, partners with upper-class businessman Phillip Carlyle (Zac Efron), and struggles to create the first instance of the modern circus.

‘Phantom Thread’ expertly captures relationship dynamics

Arguably the greatest actor of his generation, Daniel Day-Lewis claimed this past year to be retiring from the profession. If this holds true, Day-Lewis certainly leaves on a high note in director and writer Paul Thomas Anderson’s “Phantom Thread,” a twisted period romance that once again proves the mastery of all those involved.
