Congrats, Lance Berkman
The Thresher would like to congratulate Rice alumnus Lance Berkman (Will Rice '98) for his great season and for making the World Series with the St. Louis Cardinals. Berkman
came out strong in game one of the series against the Texas Rangers, and the Thresher would like to wish him well as he seeks to become the first Rice alum to win a World Series
since Norm Charlton's (Hanszen '86) win in 1990 with the Cincinnati Reds.
