"The best for me was watching Jimmy Comerota nab six RBIs against Texas A&M Corpus-Christi."
Jonathan Myers Assistant Sports Editor | "My favorite moment so far was when the Owls played Cal and won 26-11. Specifically the 45-minute bottom of the sixth when Rice went through its lineup twice and scored 12 runs.

"Mine was Jimmy Comerota sending a shot out of Minute Maid against TCU. The guy's not exactly known for his power, but he seems to have a knack for coming through just when the team needs him most. There's a reason he's called Jimmy Baseball."
Casey Michel Sports Staff Writer | "I loved watching Craig Manuel hit his first career home run for a walk-off win in the 10th inning against Houston. There's nothing better than a dogpile at home plate to end a game."

This moment may be unprecedented — Rice falling short is not
In many ways, the current landscape of American higher education is unprecedented. Sweeping cuts to federal research funding, overt government efforts to control academic departments and censor campus protests and arbitrary arrests and visa revocations have rightly been criticized as ushering in the latest iteration of fascism.
