Online Comment of the Week
In response to "KTRU true to students' needs and desires," April 23:"KTRU isn't an untouchable beast; it's a fluffy bunny." So true. And now it's just a memory. Why? Because of all the reasons you mentioned in your editorial, Joelle. And one very large reason ... everyone thought someone else would protect the fluffy bunny. In the end, no one did. It's probably best summed up by a comment seen on one website today - in the end, Houstonians liked the idea of KTRU more than the reality of it. Even if they didn't listen, they knew it existed and somehow that was enough of a warm blanket for them. So now it's gone. When another little gem is created or discovered, will you take better care of it next time?
