The Rice baseball team began its spring practices this past weekend with a series of intrasquad games. Pitchers went up to a maximum of two innings with 20 pitches per inning, and hitters got about three at-bats per game. Some of the stars of the weekend included sophomore pitcher Matt Canterino, who pitched two perfect innings on Friday, and junior catcher Dominic DiCaprio, who homered twice. The Thresher's Martin Zhang captured some of the action from Sunday's game.
